Healthy Eyes

As you already know, the more than 100 nurseries that opened almost a year ago in different slum areas of Mumbai do not only impart education and nutrition but also teach the basics of hygiene and proper conduct. Without a doubt, the dust in these zones and the dirtiness of the slums (which are generally located next to dumps), add to the risk of minor eye infections in the children, causing what we all know as “conjunctivitis.”

Hence, as you can imagine, eye-drops are very common in our centers in Mumbai and their administration is traumatizing for some children and great fun for others.

A few eye drops fix everything! No one is excused from using them in class… ;-)
